What does 4/0, 6/0, 4/1 mean?

The numbers refer to the colors on each side of the paper. 4/4 would mean 4 colors on the front and 4 colors on the back. 4/1 would indicate 4 colors on the front and 1 color on the back.


What type of printing equipment do you have?

We print booklets, brochures, and direct mail pieces on a HP Indigo 3050. This fully digital press can print 7 color with liquid ink including digital matte. For Posters and large format we print on a HP Design Jet 5000 with UV inks. The Designjet can handle paper width up to 60 inches and as long as you want it.


What size of paper can your press handle?

The printable area on the HP Indigo is 11” x 17” on a 12” x 18” press sheet. The large format can handle print jobs up to 60” wide by as long as you desire.


What type of paper can your press handle?

The indigo press can handle substrates up to 14pt. We can print on many different materials including vinyl stock and teslin.


What does C2S, C1S stand for?

Coated 2 sides and Coated 1 side.


What is the difference between perfect binding and saddle stitching?

Perfect bound pages have glued seams. Saddle stitched book are folded in half and stapled down the middle.
